It’s the fourth annual event of its kind, running from Nov. 17-19 at the Grand Falls Farmer’s Market.

Organizer Anne Senechal said the idea for the event came to her while visiting Quebec City in 2018, where a similar display captivated her imagination.

“Everyone, including myself, were awed by the beautiful trees and ornaments,” she said. “That got me thinking: what if similar Christmas trees could be displayed for a good cause in our area?”

All funds collected will go to the Tree of Hope Foundation for cancer in New Brunswick, she said.

This year’s theme aims to highlight various places in New Brunswick.

Senechal said the trees are in place, the final decorations are going up, and she is excited to welcome visitors to the event once again this year.

“It is pretty special,” she said. “The best surprise of this journey is not just the project itself, it is meeting the wonderful people eager to help out.”

Hours are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m., to 8 p.m. on the Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on the Sunday.

Admission is $5 per person, and children under five are admitted free.
